Check-In / Check-Out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.

Check-In: 3:30 PM

Should guests wish to check in prior to 3.30pm, please contact reception and we will do our best to accommodate. This is a request only and cannot be guaranteed.

There is luggage storage and public restroom facilities available for guest use should you wish to arrive early for a day of skiing or exploration and check in at end of day.

Check-Out: 10:30 AM

Late check outs may be possible on some occasions. Please contact reception to arrange a late check out of 12 midday should you wish to do so. Pre-arranged late check outs incur a $50 charge. Any guests checking out after 10.30am that have not pre-arranged a late check out will be charged at a rate of $100 directly to their credit card.

Luggage storage is complimentary either directly before check-in or directly after check-out for a period of no longer than 8hrs.

Property and Cancellation Policies :

To ensure your reservation is guaranteed, a credit card payment is required at time of booking. Your reservation can be cancelled without penalty if cancelled more than 30 days prior to confirmed arrival date.

If cancelled within 30 days of arrival, your credit card will be charged equivalent to 100% of your entire booking.

COVID-19 affected booking cancellation policy:

Reservations which cannot proceed due to government imposed travel restrictions or lock-downs will receive a fully flexible 2 year booking credit. This credit is a monetary credit, and therefore can be used across multiple dates or various rooms as required. It is not a guarantee of same date bookings across seasons. Guests must contact management in writing to arrange for new bookings at info@lakesidefallscreek.com.au . Monetary value will be applied to re-scheduled bookings and in some cases rate increases or price changes will incur additional costs.

As we move toward a ‘covid-normal’ society, bookings will no longer be eligible for special consideration if you or a member of your travel group are diagnosed with Covid-19. It is the travellers responsibility to take all precautions for their health in the lead up to travel.
It is recommended that groups travelling to Alpine regions perform a covid test 72 hours prior to travel.

Payments:


For all online bookings the full payment will be debited off your credit card at time of booking.

Pre Authorisation Deposit on Arrival:
As a security deposit for payment of incidentals, and to ensure no damage or loss occurs in the hotel, all bookings require a deposit of $150 which can be pre-authorised on credit card on arrival or paid by cash deposit on check in. Guests agree that any damage, incidental costs or room charges will be deducted from their credit card prior to leaving or the amount will be taken from the held security deposit or credit card.

Licenced Venue:


Management reserves the right to refuse entry to the lounge, bar and restaurant to hotel guests or members of the public in accordance with Victorian Liquor Act regulations.Patrons must be 18 years old or over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Lakeside Falls Creek and its management reserve the right to refuse entry to, or evict any guest for any reason, including; infringing these terms and conditions, the hotels liquor license and house policy, jeopardising the health and safety of other guests, intentional property damage or irresponsible behaviour. 

Non Authorised Private Functions In Guest Rooms:
For the benefit of quiet enjoyment of other hotel occupants and neighbours, guests are not allowed to use their rooms for private functions of greater than 5 people. A venue hire fee of $1500 and extra cleaning fee per of $45 per hour per cleaner will be automatically charged to the guest credit card if it is discovered a function has occurred in the room.
Noise on the balconies is to be kept to a minimum and after 10pm balcony doors are to be closed.

Privacy Policy

When visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
